All nametags were created using this image as a background. This tree is over 150 years old. Using this image represented the multiple perspectives and approaches necessary to understand the complex issues considered at the conference, and the benefits in bringing many people together to "see the big picture." The age of the tree is important too, for what will this landscape look like in another 150 years? Will this tree still be here? What does our farming future look like? What could change in this time frame, and what will be the same?
